I’ve been collecting various ropes and strings for years. My must stops: hardware stores, antique shops, mercerie. Things that speak to me: rich textures, lithe feels, silk, gold, cotton, acrylic materials.

Then on to design and development, play with form and function, trial and error. The question: how to make lasting, timeless pieces with these materials? My proposition: wrap stitch hyper long double-woven cotton ropes with the supplest leather. The result: a lush, bouncy and versatile strap!

With single bold knots, the strap is ready to swing over the shoulder. With a couple more knots, it becomes a handle, ready for more special nights out.
